Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic research team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, and contributing to scientific research initiatives. This position requires a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control.
Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and perform laboratory techniques in accordance with established protocols.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data while ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning through regular checks and calibrations.
- Adhere to FDA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development of new methodologies for scientific research.
- Document findings meticulously using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing insights from molecular biology and microbiology perspectives.
- Support quality control measures by conducting routine tests and inspections.
Requirements
- Working on a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Bio Chemistry or related sciences.
- Experience working in a research laboratory setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques including data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality control processes.
- Strong understanding of molecular biology and microbiology principles.
- Excellent mathematical skills for data interpretation and analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
