We prepare and update estate plans, assist Trustees and Personal Representatives with their legal responsibilities, represent clients in probate matters, and help businesses with entity formation and governing agreements.

About the Position
We are seeking a dependable, highly organized Legal Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys and staff while providing an exceptional experience for our clients.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, has outstanding English grammar skills, and takes pride in producing accurate, polished work. Because our workload varies throughout the week, flexibility and a willingness to assist wherever needed are important.
While we cannot guarantee advancement, this position offers meaningful opportunities for professional growth. Our previous office administrator began in this same part-time role, advanced to full-time employment, has received multiple raises, and now performs increasingly specialized legal work.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Answering telephone calls and greeting clients
- Executing large mailing projects
- Revising and proofreading legal documents
- Entering and maintaining information in internal databases and forms
- Developing and maintaining systems for tracking office resources and tasks
- Maintaining an organized, welcoming office environment, including light cleaning duties
- Providing administrative support wherever needed
Required Qualifications
- Professional demeanor with clients and coworkers
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy office
- Ability to read carefully and understand detailed legal documents
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and written communication through education or professional experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Administrative or reception experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service experience, particularly working with elderly clients or clients navigating stressful situations
- Interest in a long-term, part-time position with potential for grow as needs of the firm evolve
