Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, including booking modifications and cancellations.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest stays.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or issues with effective problem-solving and a customer-first attitude.
- Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers with reservations, inquiries, or emergencies.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Support night audit activities by reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to deliver seamless guest services and resolve any issues swiftly.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations by demonstrating hospitality management skills that foster a welcoming environment for diverse clientele, including multilingual or bilingual guests when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and client communication.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and resort experience is advantageous.
- Excellent phone communication skills combined with proper phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally across multi-line phone systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Experience in handling guest relations with sensitivity and professionalism across diverse populations.
