Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages promptly with enthusiasm.
- Utilize POS systems such as Future POS or similar platforms to process sales transactions smoothly.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and food menus to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments efficiently, and manage cash handling responsibilities.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Support opening or closing duties as assigned, including setting up stations or cleaning work areas.
Experience
- Proven experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Future POS or equivalent technology for sales processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Experience with wine knowledge, spirits handling, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for order accuracy and cashiering responsibilities
