Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately processing retail sales transactions and handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions.
- Maintain knowledge of store products to support upselling efforts and promote featured items or promotions effectively.
- Manage the cash drawer with integrity, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing product placements to enhance store presentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
- Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
