American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit (PCU) night shift position in Evansville, IN, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Works in a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit focused on Progressive Cardiac Care
-
Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow patients
-
28-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:4–5
-
Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact RN license currently in hand

Nursys license verification required prior to start

Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Provide nursing care to a complex cardiac and medical patient population including pre/post CV surgery and stroke overflow

Copy of Driver's License and 2 professional references required for consideration

Local candidates are eligible to apply; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
