About the Role
We are looking for a dependable, organized, proactive House Manager / Personal Assistant to help keep our busy household running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, staying ahead of household needs, handling errands and appointments, and making everyday life easier for the family.
We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to notice what needs to be done without always being asked.
Core Responsibilities
Household Management & Organization
- Maintain household organization systems and daily routines
- Reset and prepare the home for the day
- Tidying, including dishes, surfaces, and high-traffic areas
- Organize closets, cabinets, bedrooms, family room, garage, and other spaces
- Assist with holiday, birthday, guest, and event preparation
- Help keep the home functional, organized, and well-stocked
Meal Planning & Preparation
- Plan and prepare simple, family-friendly meals and snacks
- Prepare and pack children’s lunches
- Assist with dinner preparation approximately 3 times per week
- Grocery shopping and grocery organization
- Maintain an organized and clean kitchen
Laundry & Linen Care
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away household laundry
- Maintain children’s clothing and household linens
- Rotate and freshen bedding
- Keep the laundry area organized and stocked
Family & Child Support
- Occasional school pickup and transportation to activities
- Provide light supervision and backup childcare when needed
- Handle occasional kid-related errands such as school supplies or pharmacy pickups
- Help maintain routines and organization around children’s activities
- Homework help
Errands & Household Inventory
- Maintain household supply lists
- Restock pantry, refrigerator, cleaning supplies, and household essentials
- Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, and other errands
- Handle mail and packages
- Break down and manage household boxes and recycling
- Take out trash
Special Projects
- Weekly refrigerator clean-outs and organization
- Pantry and cabinet organization
- Closet and toy-area organization
- Seasonal household projects
- Help prepare the home for parties, holidays, guests, and family events
Vendor & Property Support
- Light outdoor upkeep such as patio sweeping or basic garden maintenance
Pet Care
- Cat litter box maintenance
- Dog yard waste and deck clean up
- Weed whack yard
- Monitor and restock pet food, treats, and litter
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support
- Maintain the household calendar and schedules
- Coordinate appointments and family activities
- Track receipts and household expenses related to work
- Help maintain household records and lists
- Assist with occasional personal or business administrative tasks
- Support payroll or administrative organization when needed
- Help coordinate family events, appointments, and important deadlines

- Administrative experience
- Experience coordinating vendors or household services
- Experience working with neurodivergent children or families
- Strong technology and calendar-management skills
