Full Job Description
Laird Manufacturing is seeking a dependable and organized Parts Runner / Warehouse Associate to support our production, warehouse, and service operations. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, transporting, and delivering materials and inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and safe transportation practices.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Enter inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain stock levels and storage locations
- Prepare, package, label, and coordinate outgoing shipments
- Load, unload, and transport materials, parts, and equipment safely within and outside the facility
- Plan and complete delivery routes efficiently and on schedule
- Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials and report discrepancies
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as authorized
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, shipping, and service departments to support workflow and minimize downtime
- Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and Cal/OSHA regulations
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Qualifications Required:
- Valid California driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and understand work orders, shipping records, and inventory documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience
- Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and shipping procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions including noise, dust, outdoor weather, and varying temperatures
- Occasional work around loading docks, warehouse equipment, or elevated surfaces
- Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, high-visibility vests, and safety-toed boots

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
