BayCare is currently in search of our newest Acute Care Physical Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. St. Joseph’s Hospital is well known for its advanced medical technologies and outstanding patient care, with more than 70 specialties represented among our medical teams. Acute Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve strength, balance, and functional mobility.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe movement techniques, home exercise programs, and discharge planning.
- Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient-centered care plans.
