We are looking for a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or EMT who enjoys both hands-on clinical work and administrative responsibilities and wants to grow with a rapidly expanding practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong clinical skills, emergency medicine experience, urgent care experience, or wellness clinic experience who is interested in transitioning into a more personalized, patient-focused medical setting.
Responsibilities - Clinical Duties
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
- Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection
- Process and prepare laboratory specimens
- Perform 12-lead EKGs
- Assist with IV therapy setup, placement, and monitoring as appropriate based on training and scope
- Assist providers during patient visits and procedures
- Assist with hormone pellet insertion procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Monitor patients during treatments and communicate concerns to providers
Administrative Duties
- Greet and check in patients
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Answer phone calls, texts, emails, and patient inquiries
- Coordinate with laboratories, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers
- Verify patient information and maintain records
- Process payments and assist with patient check-out
- Support front desk operations and patient flow
- Educate patients on clinic services, treatment options, and general wellness programs as appropriate
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic background preferred
- Previous experience in emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, primary care, concierge medicine, wellness clinics, or similar healthcare settings preferred
- Comfortable with hands-on clinical skills including blood draws, specimen collection, EKGs, and patient monitoring
- IV experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with computers, EMR systems, and basic office software
- Willingness to learn hormone optimization, medical weight loss therapies, IV therapy, peptides, and wellness services
