The Raleigh Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra that has been performing classical music for four decades. We have a strong tradition of collaborating with local artists and composers to present new works in the classical music community by a diverse range of artists. Our annual Rising Stars concerto competition helps us support up-and-coming soloists, and we offer other educational opportunities to foster music literacy and appreciation in future generations. Ideal board members will help us maximize our impact in the Raleigh arts landscape through community engagement, and creative strategies reaching out to a broader audience.
