Frequent travel to multiple states, sometimes for extended periods of time, is a requirement of this position. You will have your own hotel room paid for by the company and receive a daily Meals and Incidentals allowance of $59/day.
Growing, reputable Utility Contractor seeking experienced Bridge Utility field personnel to assist with and help lead the installation of various types of utility conduit on bridge crossings throughout multiple states. We are looking for dependable, dedicated, honest, driven people who already have a strong construction background and are ready to take on additional field leadership responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to become part of our progressive team and continue developing toward a Foreman position.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of General Construction, Utility, Heavy Civil, Industrial, Bridge, or similar field experience
- Previous Crew Lead, Lead Technician, Lead Laborer, Assistant Foreman, or similar leadership experience preferred
- Experience working with multiple types of construction installations and field conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong construction plan and blueprint reading skills
- Ability to understand construction details, dimensions, measurements, and basic field layout
- Experience with conduit, piping, brackets, supports, anchors, Unistrut, hardware, or similar construction systems preferred
- Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment
- Experience with aerial lifts, forklifts, skid steers, trailers, or similar equipment preferred
- Ability to assist with training other employees in safe equipment and tool operation
- Valid driver's license with ability to pass an MVR
- CDL Class A license preferred and/or the ability to obtain a CDL Class A within 60 days of the date of hire. Note: We are not a trucking company; the CDL is required to haul equipment as part of the overall job.
- Math skills
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with construction safety requirements
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Fall Protection, MEWP/Aerial Lift, and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
- Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for field documentation
- Ability to use email, upload project photos, and complete basic electronic field documentation
- Familiarity with Google Drive, Excel, and Bluebeam preferred
- Ability to clearly communicate daily progress, field conditions, material needs, and project issues to the Foreman and project team
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
People with experience in utility construction, bridge construction, heavy civil, telecommunications, electrical conduit, mechanical piping, structural steel, equipment hydraulics, and electrical systems are strongly encouraged to apply.
Frequent travel to multiple states, sometimes for extended periods of time, is a requirement of this position. Employees are compensated with a daily per diem in addition to hourly wages. Hourly rates vary depending upon the pay requirements of the job, including Prevailing Wage and union requirements where applicable. People unwilling or unable to meet the travel requirements need not apply. Drug-free workplace with pre-employment and random drug screening required.
Benefits:
Base pay dependent upon experience and qualifications. Prevailing Wage work is typical and can exceed $55/hr. 401(k) employer match, Vacation/Sick pay, and Individual Health & Dental Care after probationary period (minimum requirements).

This position is intended for experienced field personnel who are capable of helping lead less-experienced technicians while continuing to work hands-on with the crew. Successful Crew Leads will have opportunities to continue developing toward Foreman and additional field leadership positions within Bridge Masters, Inc.
