Full Job Description

Thank you for your interest in the Store Clerk/Cashier position with Mountain Creek Campground in Gardners, PA.

This Team Member will be responsible for:

Front-line customer service in the store, ice cream counter, reservations counter, café and phone calls
Greet customers immediately with a smile and responding to requests/needs quickly in a friendly, courteous and effective manner
Handling cash and credit card transactions for the store and reservations
Taking personal responsibility to resolve customer complaints/problems and refer them to management when you are unable to resolve them immediately
Develop and maintain working knowledge of the campground operations, site locations, hours of operations, costs and activities schedule, as well as local area attractions to provide guests with information
Working knowledge of area map to guide customers to the campground location when necessary
Cleanliness and stocking of the store
Identify safety issues and resolve them or report them to management or appropriate person
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards for food service

The right candidate for Store Clerk/Cashier will be:

Outgoing and able to approach customers
Dependable
Flexible with hours and days worked (weekends required in the summers)
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
Detail-oriented
Able to physically complete the demands of the job which include long periods of standing, lifting, bending and carrying
Able to work confidently without direct supervision, self-motivated
Committed to providing excellent customer service
Able to follow written and verbal commands
Have a positive attitude, be honest and have integrity!

All staff must be able to pass a State required Background Check. Candidate must have cell phone and reliable transportation.
