A server at Olos involves serving food and drinks, responding to guest requests, and maintaining a clean and professional environment. Key duties include arranging tables and place settings, clearing tables, and assisting with all stages of event preparation, service and clean-up. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to stand and lift for extended periods.
Key responsibilities

Event setup: Arranging tables, chairs, linens, and silverware according to event plans and specifications.

Service: Delivering and serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.

Guest assistance: Responding to guest questions, complaints, and requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event.

Room maintenance: Cleaning and clearing tables during and after service, and preparing the room for the next event.

Teamwork: Coordinating with other banquet staff, such as chefs and bartenders, and assisting fellow team members as needed.

Side work: Completing various tasks to prepare for events, such as folding napkins and polishing silverware.
Qualifications and skills

Customer service: Excellent communication and a professional, courteous attitude.

Physical ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (often up to 40 pounds), and bend, squat, and push repeatedly.

Attention to detail: Ensuring all setup and service details meet high standards.

Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.

Experience: Previous experience in a banquet or restaurant setting is often preferred but may not be required
