Overview
Join the team at Cafe Berlin, one of Las Vegas’ authentic German restaurants! We’re looking for friendly, reliable Servers who are passionate about hospitality and creating a welcoming experience for every guest. As a Server, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent service, sharing our German food and beer culture, and helping guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Duties
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring accuracy and quality
- Answer menu questions and recommend German specialties, beers, wines, and cocktails
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room throughout each shift
- Work closely with the kitchen and fellow team members to provide efficient service
- Process guest payments accurately and responsibly
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Assist with opening, closing, side work, and resetting tables as needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or serving experience is preferred but not required
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding guest service
- Basic knowledge of food, beer, wine, or cocktails is a plus
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash and credit card transactions
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift trays or items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred
