Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the dietary needs of residents in our assisted living facility. This position involves meal preparation, food service, and ensuring that all dietary guidelines are met while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
- Sanitize kitchen and dining areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Buss tables and assist with the cleaning of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Help in the organization and storage of food supplies, ensuring proper labeling and rotation.
- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure that meals are appealing and nutritious for residents.
- Serve meals and provide support to residents during meal times, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction including delivering food trays to resident apartments.
- Maintain accurate records of food service activities as required by dietary guidelines.
Skills
- Experience in assisted living or similar environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food service operations.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of dietetics and nutritional needs for various populations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and staff.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Shift times are 6:30am-2:30pm and 11am-7pm. NO LATE NIGHTS! This is a rotating schedule with weekends and holidays required.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
