Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling.
- Support inventory management efforts by maintaining accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely delivery and pickup schedules aligned with transportation planning.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize logistics workflows and improve process efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing, purchasing, and category management to ensure cost-effective inventory procurement.
- Monitor compliance with transportation safety regulations and regulatory standards across all logistics activities.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training on forklift operation, materials handling techniques, and safety protocols to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics operations, or warehouse management roles.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems.
