Operations
Nickson is seeking a Warehouse Quality & Housekeeping Associate to join our Operations Team.
In this position, you'll help ensure Nickson's furniture, linens, kitchenware, décor, and home goods are clean, organized, and customer-ready before installation in our customers' homes. Your primary responsibilities will include laundering linens, cleaning and sanitizing household items, maintaining warehouse organization, performing quality control inspections, and supporting inventory operations to deliver the exceptional move-in-ready experience our customers expect.
This is a hands-on warehouse position ideal for someone who takes pride in organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Every day you'll help prepare inventory for future installations by ensuring every item meets Nickson's quality and presentation standards while supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
Inventory Preparation & Quality Control
· Perform quality control (QC) inspections on returned furniture, linens, kitchenware, décor, and home goods
· Ensure inventory meets Nickson's cleanliness, presentation, and quality standards before being returned to inventory
· Identify and report damaged, missing, or defective items during the inspection process
· Prepare furniture, household goods, and home essentials to be customer-ready for future installations
· Assist with inventory counts, inventory organization, and stock accuracy
· Maintain accurate organization of processed inventory throughout the warehouse
Warehouse Housekeeping & Inventory Care
· Wash, dry, fold, iron, and organize bed sheets, towels, blankets, and other linens
· Clean, sanitize, dry, and organize dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and small kitchen appliances
· Restock consumables, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, and housekeeping materials as needed
· Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, laundry areas, dishwashing stations, storage areas, and common workspaces
· Remove trash and recycling while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
· Follow company procedures to ensure consistent cleanliness and presentation standards
Warehouse Operations Support
· Organize inventory on shelving, storage racks, and designated warehouse locations
· Assist with miscellaneous warehouse projects and operational tasks as assigned
· Support warehouse efficiency by maintaining organized work areas and inventory flow
Residential Housekeeping Support
· Provide residential housekeeping services in customers' homes as needed to support operational coverage
· Independently travel to customer residences using a company vehicle
· Clean and prepare homes to Nickson's quality and presentation standards
· Represent Nickson professionally while working in customers' homes
· Build trust with customers by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and respect for their homes and belongings

Ideal candidates will have:
· 1+ years of experience in housekeeping, warehouse operations, inventory processing, hospitality, commercial cleaning, janitorial services, quality control, or a related role
· Experience laundering, organizing, and preparing linens, towels, or household goods preferred
· Experience cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware, dishes, appliances, or household items preferred
· Experience performing quality control inspections or maintaining presentation standards is a plus
· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
· Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, organization, and efficiency
· Ability to consistently lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
· Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and weather conditions
· Basic proficiency with inventory tracking systems or warehouse applications preferred
· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
· Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Required:
· Must have valid Texas driver’s license
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
