Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating projects, assisting skilled tradespeople in completing tasks efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized workspace
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as rebar installation, framing, drywall, and other carpentry duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively according to safety regulations
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, and other structures using concrete mixers and finishing tools
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to understand project specifications and assist with formwork construction
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling to deliver supplies and equipment across the site
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related field is highly preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately
- Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction
- Experience with masonry, roofing, stucco, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation or restoration work is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and commercial driving vehicles safely
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on-site for extended periods
