Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers within your assigned territory.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through in-person visits, phone calls, text messages, and email.
- Communicate product availability, pricing, quality updates, substitutions, and promotions.
- Present products using catalogs, samples, and marketing materials.
- Respond promptly to customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
- Perform emergency customer deliveries when necessary.
Business Development
- Identify and prospect new customers through networking, referrals, trade shows, business directories, online research, and other lead sources.
- Generate new business opportunities and grow assigned sales territory.
- Assist prospective customers through the credit application process.
- Educate new customers on company products, food safety standards, and ordering procedures.
- Participate in trade shows, marketing events, and promotional campaigns.
Sales & Operations
- Prepare daily sales plans and activity reports.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, customer service, and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory activities as needed.
- Participate in HACCP, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
- Submit monthly expense reports.
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment.
Accounts Receivable
- Monitor customer accounts and payment activity.
- Assist with collections on past-due accounts when necessary.
- Process product returns and coordinate replacement orders.
- Ensure customers receive invoices and account documentation with each order.
Additional Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous sales, customer service, or presentation experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Experience in outside sales or food distribution.
- Knowledge of the restaurant or food service industry.
- Bilingual in Chinese or Korean.
