Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion with safety as their top priority. In this role, you will coordinate on-site activities, manage construction teams, oversee subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets. Your expertise will drive the successful delivery of high-quality projects, ensuring all work aligns with technical specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence project outcomes through proactive management and innovative problem-solving. Petrochemical experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless workflow and communication.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify work accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore to develop schedules, track progress, and manage resources effectively.
- Monitor project budgets and costs; assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes to keep projects financially on track.
- Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure compliance with OSHA standards for workplace safety.
- Review contracts and manage change orders; oversee subcontractor performance while maintaining strict adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Travel in and out of state
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in construction management practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. *NOT REQUIRED*
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
- Knowledge of project scheduling methods such as Primavera P6 or similar platforms to optimize workflow. *NOT REQUIRED*
- Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and ensuring safety compliance under OSHA regulations.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities involving pipeline projects or heavy civil works is a plus.
