*Job Summary*
The Front End Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the checkout area of a retail store. This role involves handling of fresh seafood orders, bagging of take-out meals, cleaning the retail area, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
*Duties*
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with customers.
- Weigh fresh seafood, bag and scan for the customer.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Answer customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate product if needed.
*Qualifications*
- Experience in retail sales (POS) systems is a plus, but we will train as well.
- Strong etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive experience
- Ability to lift 50lb boxes containing ice and seafood
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
