Position Summary:
The experienced Network Administrator supports, secures, and continuously improves our global network infrastructure, including Cisco and Fortinet technologies. This hands-on role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise networking systems to ensure reliable and secure business operations across multiple locations globally.
Working as part of a collaborative IT Infrastructure team, the Network Administrator will design and recommend network solutions, implement approved changes, support infrastructure upgrades and new technology deployments, monitor network performance, and respond to operational issues. The role also partners with internal stakeholders to maintain a secure, highly available network environment while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-enabled capabilities where they provide measurable operational value.

Position Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, maintain, respond, and troubleshoot infrastructure-related platforms, such as switching, routing, wireless, and security systems.

Develop, maintain, and improve network automation, monitoring, and AI-assisted operational capabilities to increase reliability, visibility, and response.

Perform routine lifecycle management, firmware updates, security patching, configuration reviews, and maintenance tasks across network and security platforms.

Monitor network health, capacity, and performance using network monitoring/management tools; proactively identify and resolve issues

Support user-facing network and security activities, including network segmentation, VLAN design, routing configurations, VPN, site-to-site connectivity, and remote access configurations for a global enterprise in a hybrid cloud model.

Lead or support projects of various complexity with minimal oversight, from planning and design through implementation, validation, and documentation.

Perform vulnerability review, threat identification, security control improvement, and disaster recovery planning/testing for network and security environments.

Quickly diagnose escalated network and security issues and provide practical solutions to support desk staff, team members, and business stakeholders.

Participate in after-hours network/security support as needed

Consult and advise regarding infrastructure architecture, security best practices, standards, risks, and technical direction.

Position Requirements:

At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, network engineering, or a similar role; designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting a Cisco infrastructure including routers, core/distribution/access switches, wireless technologies, and related enterprise network services.

High proficiency with Fortinet products and security operations, including FortiManager, FortiGates, FortiNDR, FortiAnalyzer, FortiEMS, and logging/analytics tasks.

Experience with current-generation Cisco switching platforms, network automation, monitoring, and AI-enabled operations and analytics.

Understanding of network security principles, firewall policy management, and segmentation strategies

Solid understanding of core networking concepts: OSI Model and how each layer interacts with the network, VLANs, routing, Network security concepts, DNS, DHCP.

Experience supporting complex networking and security environments, including problem-solving, troubleshooting, procedure creation, technical documentation, and standards development.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, secure network architecture, data protection, endpoint security, and defense against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of company data.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities across a global, multi-site environment
Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent work experience

Relevant certifications preferred, such as:

Cisco CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise, Security, or Wireless)

Fortinet NSE 4+

CompTIA Network+ / Security+

Experience supporting global or multi-subsidiary network environments

Experience with network automation (CiscoAI Canvas, Cisco Cloud Control, or similar) a plus
