Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Requirements
Clinical Qualifications & Credentials
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensure: Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Clearances: Background check clearance
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and standardized assessments to diagnose communication, language, speech, and fluency disorders.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including evaluation reports, daily treatment notes, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involving family members/caregivers and other providers
- Educate clients and family members/caregivers on strategies, techniques, and home practice routines to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
Skills & Core Competencies
- Strong clinical knowledge of evidence-based intervention techniques across the full pediatric age spectrum (from birth/early intervention through early childhood, middle childhood, and high school/adolescence).
- Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage a caseload and meet documentation deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- At least two year of clinical experience
- Experience with specific software platforms for EHR/EMR
- Native or professional-level bilingual fluency in Spanish or Mandarin
Conducting teletherapy services
Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
