Part-Time Automotive Salesperson
Position: Automotive Salesperson
Employment Type: Part-Time — 25–30 hours per week
Schedule: Wednesday–Friday + every other Saturday
Location: Yingst Automotive
Pay: Hourly Plus Commission
About the Position
We are looking for a motivated, personable, and dependable Part-Time Automotive Salesperson to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in cars, and wants to be part of a professional, customer-focused dealership.
You will be responsible for helping customers find the right vehicle, answering questions, conducting vehicle demonstrations, following up with leads, and helping customers through the sales process from start to finish.
Schedule
- Wednesday: 9-5
- Thursday: 9-5
- Friday: 9-5
- Every other Saturday: 9-2
- Approximately 25–30 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional experience
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles based on their needs and budget
- Learn and maintain knowledge of current dealership inventory
- Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and test drives
- Answer questions about vehicle features, pricing, and availability
- Build relationships with customers and follow up with leads
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information
- Present vehicles professionally and keep the sales area organized
- Follow up with previous customers and generate repeat and referral business
- Meet individual and dealership sales goals
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Help Maintain the Sales Lot to keep organized and presentable to customers
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, confident, and professional personality
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently while being a team player
- Comfortable working with customers and discussing pricing
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Abilty to drive Manual Transmission preferred but not required
- Must be available Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday
