Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: As a Maintenance Technician you play a crucial role in our residential property management team, tasked with a wide range of repair, remodel, and maintenance duties across our property portfolio. This role requires a strong set of technical skills in various home repair, project and maintenance disciplines, alongside excellent time management and communication abilities. The Maintenance Technician is instrumental in upholding the quality, safety, and comfort of our properties, ensuring a high standard of living and safety for our residents. You will report to the Project Supervisor in coordination to ensure our tenant’s and their properties needs are met in a timely and professional fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Home Repair, Remodel, and Maintenance Skills: Exhibit generalized skills in intermediate to advanced home repair, remodel, and maintenance. This includes tasks like plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
- Completion of Work Orders and Projects: Complete assigned work orders and project tasks in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality in all maintenance work.
- Tenant Communication: Communicate with tenants regarding maintenance appointments and visitations, keeping them informed about scheduled maintenance activities.
- Emergency On-Call Duties: Participate in the emergency on-call line rotation, responding to emergency work orders promptly and effectively when on-call.
- Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor: Inform the Maintenance Supervisor of any issues or concerns related to property’s well-being, including potential safety hazards or significant repair needs beyond those already described in the assigned work order.
- Maintenance Task Documentation: Accurately document maintenance tasks performed using the provided software systems, ensuring all relevant information is recorded accurately.
- Time Tracking: Use supplied software effectively to track time spent on maintenance and project tasks, ensuring accurate logging for management and billing purposes.
- Maintain Reliable Transportation: Maintain reliable transportation to fulfill job responsibilities across the multiple properties within the portfolio. This includes being able to travel to different locations as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Other Assigned Tasks: Perform additional tasks related to the department/position as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or other equivalent management. These tasks may vary and support the department's overall goals.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
