JOB Operates one or more pieces of heavy construction equipment used for the Demolition purposes for the removal of identified structures on facility grounds and other locations throughout the City of Flint. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Operates equipment used in performing a variety of grading, filling, and compaction operations.

Operates an excavator to load, unload, or move materials, and operates a front-end loader to transfer materials on demolition construction projects or special assignments.

Drives a tandem axle dump truck to transport equipment, materials, and supplies.

May assist the garage mechanic both in the field and in the garage with major repairs and overhauls of equipment.

Performs minor repairs on equipment as required.

Performs other related duties as required.
