We're seeking a highly skilled Combination Welder/Fitter proficient in SMAW and FCAW for both in-shop fabrication and field work. The ideal candidate brings precision, reliability, and a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, coupled with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute high-quality welds using SMAW and FCAW on various structural components
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and job specifications
- Fit and fabricate metal components for structural and industrial projects
- Ensure welds meet industry and quality standards, including inspections and adjustments
- Safely operate fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and maintain workflow
- Support field installations and on-site fabrication as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years welding/fitting experience, with demonstrated proficiency in SMAW and FCAW
- Experience in both shop-based and field welding environments
- Strong understanding of welding codes and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently or in team settings with minimal supervision
- Valid Driver’s License required for job site access and travel
- Certification in welding preferred but not mandatory

Salary based upon experience.
