Front of House (FOH) Team Member (Host, Expo, and Server)

- Training pay- $7.25 per hour (minimum of 5 shifts which can be completed in two and a half days or as availability allows)
- Host & Expo-$15 + tips
- Server- $2.15 + tips

Essential Job Duties
- Greet and assist guests throughout their dining experience
- Manage seating, wait times, and guest flow.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and provide menu recommendations
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food entree modifications.
- Coordinate and verify timely, accurate food delivery.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service timing
- Address guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Communicate clearly with guests, FOH team, kitchen staff, and management
- Process payments, handle cash and tips, and issue receipts using Toast POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, dining, and waiting areas
- Clear and reset tables promptly; restock FOH supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Servers and bartenders maintain certifications required for serving alcoholic beverages
- Support team members and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment
- Enroll in mandatory tip distribution and payout to access earned tips
Qualifications:
- Experience using Toast POS or other restaurant software/hardware
- 2 years of full service restaurant highly preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Comfortable standing for long periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and stay focused during high-volume shifts
- Excellent communication skills with a Friendly and outgoing personality towards guests and other team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, integrity, and a willingness to learn new things
- Host, Food Runner, or Expo experience in a full dining restaurant preferred
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
