Dassel-Cokato Schools is searching for a speech-language pathology assistant to provide therapy in the school setting for students who qualify for special education services with speech and/or language concerns. This position will support speech-language needs in the Dassel-Cokato school district, building(s) to be determined.
Duties

Perform professional work assessing individuals

Deliver instructional and clinical services to individuals

Work with small groups of students with speech and language impairments

This position will provide these services within a variety of settings, including general education and special education settings
Qualifications:

Current MN Speech-Language Assistant (SLPA) certification

Strong desire to work with children with special needs in an educational setting

Strong collaboration and communication skills with multiple stakeholders

Knowledge of due process procedures, including evaluation procedures and writing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary is based upon training and experience.
