Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work that elevates the quality and aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, or restoration projects. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior trim, moldings, cabinetry, doors, windows, and fixtures with accuracy and finesse
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute detailed finishing tasks effectively
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform precise carpentry work on-site
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards
Skills
- Extensive experience in trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and fixture setup
- Proficiency in construction estimating and reading schematics or blueprints for accurate execution
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, sanders) effectively
- Experience with general remodeling projects
- Familiarity with metal or woodworking techniques
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems integration related to carpentry work
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on restoration industry standards or manufacturing environments
