Job Summary
This is a 1099 position. Must be self insured.
We are seeking skilled and motivated Single Family Cabinet Installers. In this role, you will be responsible for installing production based flat pack cabinets, countertops, and related woodwork in residential settings. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools will ensure each project is completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise cabinet installation aligned with project specifications
- Measure spaces accurately and mark locations for cabinet placement using tape measures, levels, and other measuring tools
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and clamps to assemble cabinets on-site
- Operate power tools for woodworking including drills, saws, sanders, and CNC machines safely and effectively
- Install cabinets, countertops, trim carpentry elements, doors, fixtures, siding, and related components within residential properties
- Perform heavy lifting of cabinetry and materials while adhering to proper safety protocols for construction site work
- Ensure all installations meet local building codes and industry standards for quality and safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential carpentry or cabinet installation with a strong understanding of construction estimating and blueprint reading
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking as well as woodworking machines such as CNC routers or saws
- Knowledge of construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices including power tool safety and heavy lifting techniques
- Experience with various wood construction materials like cabinetry components, siding materials, drywall (plastering), stucco, rebar installation or masonry is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings related to fixture installation or metal stud framing
- Strong background in remodeling projects including flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience or plumbing work is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Professional Series Installation knowledge and skill set is needed.
