Hiring: Automotive Service Advisor (Commission-Only)About the role Join our team as a Service Advisor and act as the primary customer contact for vehicle service — selling recommended work, building relationships, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, capture vehicle concerns, and clearly explain recommended services.
- Create accurate estimates and write repair orders.
- Schedule appointments and promptly answer phones.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely, quality repairs and keep customers informed.
- Follow up after service to drive CSI and customer retention.
- Develop and grow your own customer base through outreach and excellent service.
Qualifications
- Excellent driving record.
- Available Monday–Friday.
- CSI-savvy with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Comfortable with POS systems and phone/email communication.
- Willingness to work hard and grow a customer base.
- Ready to work on a commission-only pay plan (no base).
- X-time Dealertrack experience preferred.
- Previous service advisor or retail/service experience is a plus.
Compensation
- Commission-only with estimated annual income: $80,000–$140,000 (based on performance).
