Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex mechanical systems repair; utilize diagnostic tools for automotive electrical system troubleshooting.
- Perform heavy lifting safely during repairs or parts replacement; ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed; communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding maintenance needs or repair status.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines
- Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems using diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment brands is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
