SOMISOMI and Sul & Beans is excited to open our brand-new location at Granada Hills (17945 Chatsworth St) — right at the top of the San Fernando Valley.
We are two beloved Korean dessert concepts operating together under one roof:
- Sul & Beans – Famous for fresh, from-scratch bingsoo (shaved ice), signature injeolmi toasts, and unique drinks.
- SOMISOMI – Popular for premium Korean soft-serve ice cream, Ahboong cones, and crispy Taiyaki (fish-shaped waffles).
Applicants are applying to both SOMISOMI and Sul & Beans. Team members will work across both brands and receive cross-training on all menu items, allowing you to master everything from classic red-bean bingsoo and injeolmi toast to creamy soft-serve and fish-shaped taiyaki.
We’re looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable people who love great food, great service, and being part of a growing, welcoming team. Whether you’re a student, parent, or someone looking for a fun second job, we have flexible schedules that work with your life.
What You’ll Do
- Greet every guest with a smile and deliver fast, friendly counter service
- Take orders, handle payments (POS system), and prepare delicious menu items from both Sul & Beans and SOMISOMI
- Craft beautiful bingsoo, injeolmi toasts, soft-serve creations, taiyaki, and signature drinks with fresh ingredients
- Keep the café spotless and inviting — we take pride in our space!
- Work together during busy rushes (evenings & weekends are our busiest)
- Cross-train extensively on both SOMISOMI and Sul & Beans operations
- Help with opening/closing, restocking, and light prep
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset (experience in fast food, café, or retail is a plus — but we are more than happy to train excellent people!)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for shifts and lift up to 25 lbs
- Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler’s Card (or willingness to get one quickly!)
- Huge plus: Korean/Spanish/English bilingual abilities — we celebrate our diverse roots and love serving the multicultural San Fernando Valley community!
No prior dessert experience? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
