Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, menu planning, and working in various culinary environments.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals following established recipes
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet the highest standards
- Collaborate with the Dietary Department to meet dietary needs and restrictions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role for large groups
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with various cooking methods
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in a restaurant, catering, or dietary aide setting is a plus
- Proficiency with knives and other kitchen tools
