Backstrom Property Services is a new, locally owned residential cleaning company based in Apex. We're hiring our first cleaners and building the team around one simple idea: pay people well, treat them right, and quality takes care of itself.
We know the best people often need work that fits around their lives, like kids' school hours, a second job, or family commitments. This role is part-time by design, and we build the schedule around your availability — within daytime business hours. Our cleaning appointments happen Monday through Friday, generally between 9 AM and 5 PM, so we're looking for people whose availability falls in that window. Hours start modest as we launch and grow with the business.
What you'd do
- Clean residential homes in the Apex and Cary area to a consistent, high standard
- Follow a room-by-room checklist so every home gets the same quality of work
- Represent Backstrom Property Services professionally in clients' homes
- Communicate clearly about scheduling and arrive on time
What we offer
- $18–$20 per hour, based on experience
- Keep 100% of any tips you earn
- W-2 employment, not 1099 — a real paycheck with taxes handled, paid by direct deposit

- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Apex/Cary area
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete a background check — our clients welcome us into their homes, and trust is the foundation of this work
- Daytime weekday availability — our cleanings happen Monday–Friday, roughly 9 AM to 5 PM
