Duties
- Assemble components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure correct assembly procedures
- Operate fabrication equipment including welding machines, soldering stations, and machining tools to meet specifications
- Use forklift trucks to move materials safely within the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Conduct quality checks on assembled parts utilizing precision measurement instruments to ensure adherence to standards
- Follow safety protocols during all assembly activities, including proper handling of tools and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and optimize production workflows
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering stations, and machining devices
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred) and handle warehouse logistics efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance during assembly processes
- Basic understanding of fabrication techniques including welding and machining is advantageous
