We're looking for an experienced Residential Service Technician who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in doing the job right, and wants to work for a company where quality matters more than rushing through jobs.
This is NOT an apprentice position.
We're looking for someone who already has solid residential repair experience and can work independently after onboarding.
What You'll Do
You'll complete a variety of residential repairs including:
- Drywall repair and texture matching
- Finish carpentry and trim work
- Door installation and adjustments
- Fence and gate repairs
- Wood rot repairs
- Caulking
- Minor paint touch-ups
- TV mounting
- General home maintenance
Additional responsibilities include:
- Diagnose repair needs
- Build estimates in Housecall Pro
- Document jobs with before and after photos
- Maintain a clean work vehicle and organized jobsite
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Identify additional repair opportunities when appropriate
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years residential handyman, remodeling, carpentry, or maintenance experience
- Ability to complete residential repairs with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Own basic hand tools and cordless power tools
Bonus Skills:
Experience with:
- Texture matching
