Job Overview
We are seeking a senior full-time AutoCAD technician/designer with 4+ years of experience in the civil engineering/land development field to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects. The CAD Technician will play a crucial role in the development of projects across multiple disciplines, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide drafting and design services using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Prepare project exhibits, conceptual designs, preliminary plans, construction plans, and record drawings
- Communicate effectively with other team members
Qualifications
- Must have 4+ years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience in the civil site design/land development field and knowledge of surfaces, alignments, and profiles
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Understanding of land development design concepts related to grading, drainage, and utilities
