Clinical Environment:
You’ll practice in a state-of-the-art setting featuring:
- Six fully equipped exam rooms
- Optos ultra-widefield retinal imaging
- Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
- ERG technology
- Visual field testing
- iCare tonometry
- Skilled, dedicated support staff to streamline your workflow
Position Overview:
This is a full-scope, relationship-driven role where quality of care is prioritized over patient volume. You’ll work with an established patient base and have the time and tools needed to practice at a high clinical level.
Patient Volume: 16–20 patients per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Conduct contact lens fittings and follow-ups
- Provide medical eye care and disease management
- Co-manage surgical cases
- Utilize advanced diagnostic technology to detect and monitor ocular conditions
- Deliver a high standard of patient-centered care
- Crystal Practice Manager is the business software used in clinic
Pay & Benefits:
- $150,000 plus commission based pay available

Schedule & Work-Life Balance:

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active Maine optometry license (or eligibility prior to start date)
- Therapeutic licensure required
