Job Summary:
Responsible for the loading and delivery of retail and pharmacy goods to the many locations affiliated with KPH Healthcare Services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect and consolidate processed orders from within the Distribution Center using various equipment such as electric pallet trucks, forklifts, automatic pallet wrappers, dock levelers, etc.

Load box trucks and dry van trailers in a manner which ensures the accuracy and integrity of the freight within.

Drive box trucks and tandem-axle tractor-trailers, long-distance, in a manner which conforms to all applicable laws and regulations.

Unload freight at our locations in a manner which conforms to each location’s unique needs. This process will require the usage of electric and manual pallet jacks, platform liftgates, conveyors, elevators, and dock levelers.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on all assigned equipment, and document findings according to our Vehicle Maintenance Policy. Report any needed repairs or areas of concern to management or the Vehicle Maintenance Department.

Operate Electronic Logging Devices to accurately record Hours of Service.

Backhaul products and supplies destined for our Distribution Center from various outside vendors.

Must be able to interact professionally with everyone you come in contact with, both internal and external to KPH.
- Responsible for reporting any accidents, violations, or damages that may occur during your trips to management immediately.

Responsible for the security of the inventory and equipment that is assigned to you.

Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.

Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy.

Required to be placed in a random-draw pool for ongoing Federal drug testing requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Required:

Must be able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly.

Must be able to work in a Distribution Center and operate all associated equipment.

Must be able to operate a commercial motor vehicle safely, lawfully, and efficiently.

Successful completion of all mandatory training
Education:
-
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
-
Must have and be able to maintain a CDL Class ‘A’ Driver’s License.
Experience:
-
Required: 2-3 years of previous experience required in a truck driver position

Preferred: 5 or more years previous experience preferred in a related position
