Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in person and via phone to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Drive company vehicles safely along designated routes to deliver products, merchandise, or promotional materials
- Conduct route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform heavy lifting when handling merchandise or supplies, ensuring proper safety techniques are followed
- Implement merchandising strategies to display products attractively and optimize sales opportunities
- Utilize pricing knowledge to provide accurate quotes and negotiate deals effectively
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services to maximize revenue
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, deliveries, and customer interactions
- Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and management to ensure seamless service delivery
Skills
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies and sales techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Proven customer service experience with a positive attitude
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Solid math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and route planning
- Experience in route driving or commercial driving preferred; valid driver’s license required

- Organizational skills for managing schedules, deliveries, and inventory records
- Upselling expertise to increase sales volume and customer satisfaction
