We are seeking a compassionate and dependable School Aide to support students who require instructional and/or behavioral assistance. This role works under the guidance of the special education department, classroom teacher, and/or designated supervisor to help students succeed in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to student growth, with the ability to provide both academic support and assistance with personal care or mobility needs when required.

Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in classroom and school settings

Assist teachers and special education staff in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Support students with daily activities, including organization, transitions, and classroom participation

Help manage and reinforce positive behavior strategies

Assist students with personal care, mobility, and therapeutic needs, as directed by healthcare or rehabilitation professionals

Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students

Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and supervisors regarding student progress and needs

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Must be at least 18 years of age

Ability to comply with all professional standards of practice

Meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

Current CPR certification
-
TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray)

Current health certificate per state or contract regulations

Experience working with children, especially in special education or support roles

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
