Skills. Customer service is our top priority, so you must be extremely friendly, patient and ready to handle a variety of situations with grace and enthusiasm. ·
Style. We require that our employees have a strong sense of individual style. You must be able to put together outfits for customers and coordinate looks. Mint Julep is frilly, funky, ladylike, edgy, fun and experimental at the very same time, so you must be able to work with many different styles of dress.·
Knowledgeable. We want you to know what you’re selling. Familiarity with boutique brands is a plus, but interest in learning about lines is great too.·
Flexible. Able to go with the flow in a fast paced boutique.·
Fun and friendly. We want our customers to leave the store with the memory of a fun shopping experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff, and maybe a new item or two!
Experience. Retail and sales experience is very important. We’ve found that it really helps to have retail experience in addition to customer service experience.
We’re currently hiring for both of our Harvard Square and Brookline locations. You MUST be willing and able to work in both locations. Both shops are accessible by train and bus.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
