Position Overview
Portsmouth Sign is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sign Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and guiding customers through the sign design and production process from concept to installation.
The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and referrals
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Conduct site visits to assess signage needs and gather project details
- Prepare detailed proposals and accurate quotes
- Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure project success
- Follow up on leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and local sign regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle
