About Us:
Rosewood on the Sound is a warm, resident-centered Assisted Living Facility dedicated to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
- Restock housekeeping supplies as needed.
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management.
- Follow infection control and facility cleaning protocols.
- Work independently while completing assigned housekeeping tasks efficiently.
- Provide courteous and respectful interactions with residents, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare, assisted living, nursing home, hotel, or commercial cleaning is a plus).
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be dependable, professional, and compassionate toward older adults.
