Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as a Pipeline Laborer/Laborer and be a vital part of installing essential utility systems for infrastructure projects. In this role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines for water, wastewater, stormwater, and other underground utility systems. Responsibilities
- Assist with the excavation, trenching, and backfilling of underground pipelines using hand tools and heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks.
- Support pipe installation activities by following blueprint specifications and construction plans accurately.
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently, including dozers, loaders, excavators, and front loader trucks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols at all times.
- Perform utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation to prevent damage or accidents.
- Assist in the installation of sanitary sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater systems, and other underground utilities according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Support concrete finishing tasks related to pipe bedding or trench walls when necessary.
- Use pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation of pipelines during installation.
- Follow all federal construction safety regulations and safety protocol guidelines diligently to maintain a safe work environment.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute construction trenching and pipeline installation projects.
- Maintain cleanliness of worksite, tools, and equipment while adhering to waste management procedures related to wastewater systems and sanitary drainage systems.
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction site work or pipeline installation is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, front loader trucks confidently and safely.
- Knowledge of utility trenching techniques for sewer lines, water systems, stormwater management, and underground utilities installation.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for construction plans.
- Understanding of safety regulations related to federal construction sites including OSHA standards.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor throughout the workday.
- Basic hand tool proficiency for tasks such as pipe fitting or minor repairs.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is appreciated.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL certification is advantageous for operating certain equipment or trucks on-site.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
