Established collection agency in Alpharetta is currently seeking experienced debt collectors. We offer an excellent bonus and commission structure with no late nights or weekends required.
```Duties:```
- Contact individuals or businesses to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities
- Follow legal requirements and company policies when pursuing debt collection
- Provide excellent customer service while handling sensitive financial situations
- Use accounting software to track and manage debt collection activities
```Qualifications:```
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- At least 3 years experience in accounts receivable or debt collection
- Bilingual a plus
- Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processes is a plus
- Proficiency in using accounting software for tracking and managing collections
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to negotiate effectively and maintain professionalism in challenging situations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and monthly goals
