Seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate (Budtender) with customer service experience and a welcoming, positive attitude to join our team! Applicants must be comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment. Required to work weekend and weekday shifts 9:50am to 7:45pm, 9:50am to 3pm, 12pm-5pm and/or 2pm- 7:45pm.
Reliability and attendance is imperative.
Pay is $17/hr + Tips
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work in the Oregon Cannabis industry
- Applicants must have a valid, unexpired OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit (*required to pass OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit Test and submit application prior to being hired)
- Experience in retail sales and customer service required
- Reliable transportation is required
- Ability to work independently (without supervision)
- Reliability is important. poor attendance will not be tolerated.
- Physical Requirements: Standing, Walking, Lifting 50+ lbs
- Cannabis Industry/dispensary sales experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of cannabis strains and product types
- Must be Friendly, Outgoing, Trustworthy, Dependable, and Hardworking
- Must show attention to detail and maintain a clean and organized work station
- Must be able to provide exemplary customer service, represent the business with pride and get the customer exactly what they want by educating them on products and current specials
- Background Check Required
Duties/Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Greeting, establishing good rapport with customers, and guiding them in finding products that meet their needs
- ringing up sales correctly in Point of Sale system
- Cash handling and counting
- precisely weighing product for deli-style flower service
- Assembling and labeling prerolls
- Adhering to strict compliance requirements to maintain a professional and safe environment for customers and co-workers
- Unpacking, sorting, counting and labeling merchandise as directed
- Restocking merchandise on the sales floor
- Participating in daily store clean-up and sanitation protocols
